Reception and the guest experience
Start with a short scenario: greeting, hotel information and referral to a staff member. A humanoid can support a show or interaction experiment. Do not promise independent check-in, payment or booking without implemented and tested integration. Define operating hours, languages, lobby noise and handling of misunderstood questions.
Guiding is not equivalent to room delivery
Moving with guests requires assessment of thresholds, carpets, doors and crowds. Lifts and access control are separate integration tasks. Luggage handling adds grasp, weight, liability and property-protection requirements. A walking demonstration does not confirm such a service. Start on one floor with a simple route and an available operator, then test blocked-path behaviour.
Guest data and dialogue assessment
Separate general information from booking-data access. Establish where images, audio and transcripts go and whether remote operators can connect. A limited approved hotel knowledge base can suffice for a pilot. Measure answer accuracy, successful staff handover, setup and breaks. Compare guest feedback with additional staff work, not merely photo counts.
Matching the model to the hotel format
Assess Walker C and AGIBOT A2 against a presentation and interaction script. Fourier GR-3 and LimX Luna take different approaches to humanoid design and human contact. This does not establish a ready hotel package. Specify language, session duration, route, operator and application version. Hotel-event rental and permanent reception work need separate terms and acceptance trials.
What belongs in a humanoid enquiry?
Describe one task, the space without unnecessary personal data, object dimensions and the current workflow. Include timing, location, budget and acceptance owners. Ask about robot version, software, autonomy, operator role and operating limits. Separate current functions from planned updates. This brief helps compare the actual scope of different suppliers.
Budget: hardware, commissioning and maintenance
Compare purchase, fixed-period rental and an outcome-defined pilot. Leasing or subscription availability needs confirmation for the device and customer. Include transport, integration, licences, training, operators, parts and downtime. A foreign base price does not establish an installed Polish project cost. Use your quotations and measured labour time, not a promise of replacing a full-time role.
Acceptance, parts and the next step
Agree success and stop criteria before testing. Report completed tasks, failures, human assistance and recovery time. Match parts by serial number and hardware revision; clarify diagnostics and responsibility after software updates. Results may support expansion, scope changes or ending the pilot. HumanoidPoint helps prepare selection and supplier discussions; model lists do not confirm stock, manufacturer authorisation or service availability.
