How to verify robot manufacturer claims

Demonstration, teleoperation and autonomy. Ask about functions available in the ordered edition.

Demo material can illustrate development direction, but purchasing requires checking how tasks are performed. Verify the ordered configuration and customer process.

Who controls the robot?

Ask whether control is teleoperated, scripted or autonomously planned. Establish interventions, error detection and off-camera human work. No visible operator does not prove autonomy.

What works in the customer edition?

Separate development videos, experiments and contract-supported features. Hardware may exclude SDK, licences or task software. Request limits and extra services.

Evidence for your process

Representative trials assess repeatability, quality and support time. Keep failed attempts and recovery time. Do not extrapolate one grasp directly into shift throughput.

Information to start

  • Control method and operator role
  • Licence scope and feature version
  • Repeatable trial measuring failures

Deliverable to agree

Confirmed, experimental and separately integrated functions.

Scope, fees and responsibilities are agreed for each project. Catalogue listings do not imply manufacturer authorisation or partnership agreements. Equipment and delivery partners require availability confirmation.
