How to define the scope
After identifying the component, define the repair boundaries: delivery, removal, installation, configuration and commissioning. A component-only quote does not show the full cost of returning the device to work.
Prepare before the discussion
- Confirmed part number and variant
- Diagnostic findings or need description
- Warranty terms and scope approver
What outcome should you agree?
After a repair, record the replaced items and agreed test results. The document should link the device number, configuration version and person responsible for acceptance.
Delivery conditions
Installing parts may require additional calibration. Not every repair can be performed at the customer’s site; the location is agreed with the technical partner.
Information and enquiry preparation. Parts availability, compatibility, service provider and timing require confirmation. HumanoidPoint does not claim manufacturer authorisation.
