What needs to match?
A joint module may combine an actuator, gearbox, position measurement and control. Establish its exact location, left or right side and part revision. Similar torque does not make two modules interchangeable.
How to plan its use
Describe the symptom and when it occurs. An error message, noise or restricted motion does not prove an entire actuator must be bought. Diagnosis should precede the order and define later configuration requirements.

What should you agree with the supplier?
The offer should separate the part, installation, calibration and acceptance test. Also agree who approves the robot’s return to the intended task.
