Coordinating robot purchase and deployment

Align manufacturer, integrator and user team around one schedule and responsibility map.

Many failures occur between hardware supply, site preparation and integration. Coordination clarifies these boundaries. It does not automatically mean the broker designs or builds controls.

Who supplies each element?

Assign robot, tooling, software, network, handover stations and training. For lifts, doors or warehouse systems identify the interface owner. Unassigned work often becomes a project gap.

Milestones instead of one date

Separate delivery, installation, task tests, training and operational acceptance. Define stage evidence and sign-off. A robot ready to ship is not a process ready to run.

Changes after launch

Record configuration, function and schedule changes. Each new function needs cost, timing and test assessment. Handover includes configuration and support contacts.

Information to start

  • Process owner and acceptance lead
  • Infrastructure integration list
  • Readiness dates for site, people and equipment

Deliverable to agree

Responsibility map, milestones and acceptance conditions.

Scope, fees and responsibilities are agreed for each project. Catalogue listings do not imply manufacturer authorisation or partnership agreements. Equipment and delivery partners require availability confirmation.
